  7. collection of digital video picture materials suitable for multimedia
  8. and nonlinear video editing.
  9. This product is royalty-free, so you can use it freely and repeatedly.

  14. This product consists of three CD-ROMs: Disc 1 (browser, multimedia
  15. materials) and Discs 2 and 3 (digital video [DV] editing materials).

  25. Because the DV editing materials stored on Discs 2 and 3 have a viewing
  26. angle of 720 x 486 pixels (9:6 aspect ratio), they will appear longer
  27. horizontally on a computer screen than in multimedia materials.

  30. Some of the images of this product include mask data, which is stored
  31. in the "Mask" folder of each material item.  See the manual to find
  32. relevant items.

  63. How to use the VIDEO-SOZAIJITEN browser
  64.  
  65. [Starting up]
  66.  
  67. Insert the VIDEO-SOZAIJITEN CD (Disc 1)  into the CD-ROM drive.
  68. Double click the "Vbrowser.exe" icon.
  69.  
  70. * Set your display to 32000 colors or more before starting up.
  71. * If you change the display setting while using the browser, it may
  72.   cause disturbance on the screen.
  73. * QuickTime 3.0 for Windows is required.

  76. - Scroll
  77. Press the scroll button to scroll one or three lines at a time.
  78. Press the scroll bar to jump to a target line.
  79.  
  80. - Material selection
  81. Click on the material you want to use, and it will be surrounded by a
  82. yellow frame.  This is called "material selected."

  84. * The image shown on the material selection screen is a thumbnail
  85.   image displaying major frames for each material.
  86.  
  87. - PLAY
  88. To play the movie, click PLAY when you are in the "material selected"
  89. mode or double-click the material.
  90. Select other materials to stop the playing.

  92. - STOP
  93. Click STOP to halt the playing of movies.

  95. - TOP
  96. Click TOP to move to the first movie frame.

  98. - REW
  99. Click REW to rewind the movie by one frame.  Set the LOOP mode to ON
  100. to jump from the first to the last frame.

  102. - FWD
  103. Click FWD to advance the movie by one frame.  Set the LOOP mode to ON
  104. to jump from the last to the first frame.

  106. - END
  107. Click END to move to the last movie frame.

  109. - LOOP
  110. Click LOOP to set or reset the LOOP mode.
  111. Click PLAY when the LOOP mode is ON to replay the selected movie.
  112. Click LOOP again to reset the LOOP mode.

  114. - current time
  115. The lapsed time for the material being played is displayed, in the
  116. order of hour, minute, second and frame number.
  117.  
  118. - duration
  119. The playing time of the selected material is displayed.
  120.  
  121. - ZOOM
  122. Click ZOOM to magnify the selected material to 320 x 240 pixels.
  123. Select some material and click the ZOOM key, and the screen will
  124. change to the zoom display mode and the first frame will be shown.
  125. Press the PLAY key to play the movie.  Click RETURN to go back to the
  126. material selection screen.

  128. * Because the data is stored in a high-resolution format, frame
  129.   dropouts will occur when the material is replayed with a browser.
  130. * Materials for DV editing (720 x 486 pixels) are stored on either
  131.   Disc 2 or 3.

  133. - FIND
  134. Select some material and click FIND, and multimedia materials (320 x
  135. 240 pixels) will be found on the CD-ROM and displayed in the window.

  140. - SAVE
  141. Select some material and click SAVE, and multimedia materials (320 x
  142. 240 pixels) will be found on the CD-ROM and saved in a designated
  143. place as a file.

  146. Click QUIT to exit the VIDEO-SOZAIJITEN browser.
